ISD, member of GICAT: rooted at the heart of the French defense industrial sector

GICAT brings together nearly 490 members, including major groups, mid-sized companies and SMEs, across the French and international land and air-land defense and security industries.

As a member of GICAT, ISD reinforces its role within the French Defense Industrial and Technological Base (BITD) and actively contributes to the dialogue between industry and public institutions that helps shape the sector.

This membership enables ISD to stay closely aligned with regulatory, technological and operational developments, strengthen its industrial partnerships, and position its expertise in response to sovereignty and operational availability challenges, in France and internationally.

EDEN Cluster

ISD, member of EDEN Cluster: at the heart of the French defense SME network

EDEN Cluster brings together more than 200 French SMEs and mid-sized companies active in defense, security and safety, organized across five regional hubs and strongly focused on export markets.

As a member of this network, ISD contributes to a collaborative ecosystem built around shared expertise, information exchange and the collective representation of SMEs in the defense industry in discussions with public institutions and prime contractors.

ISD also plays an active role in MCO working groups (focused on through-life support and operational sustainment) helping structure dialogue between manufacturers, users and decision-makers, while strengthening its visibility and partnerships in France and across international markets.
